# Start Your RayBot Journey

## 🌐 Where You Can Use RayBot

RayBot fully supports both [**Telegram**](#how-to-launch-raybot-in-telegram) and [**Discord**,](#how-to-launch-raybot-in-discord) so you can manage wallet tracking and analytics wherever it’s most convenient for you.\
You can add wallets, set filters, manage notifications, and receive alerts on both platforms.

### 📲 How to Launch RayBot in Telegram

1. **Find one of the free bots:**\
   **—** Type in Telegram: @ray\_red\_bot\
   — Or go directly via the [Telegram link](https://t.me/ray_red_bot)\
   — You can also choose any other free bot from the available options:

2. Click the **Start** button or type the **/start** command.\
   This will open the language selection menu — choose the one that’s most convenient for you.
3. After that, the bot will launch the main menu — RayBot is ready to use.

### ⚡ Add Your First Wallet (2 Minutes)

Once the main menu is open, you're ready for the most important step — tracking your first wallet.

1️⃣ **Pick a wallet to track**\
Any Solana or EVM address works. Don't have one in mind yet? The [Finding New Wallets](/start/use-cases/use-cases/finding-new-wallets.md) guide shows where traders find interesting addresses to follow, and [KOLs Transactions](/start/web-app/web/kols-transactions.md) lists wallets of well-known traders you can copy.

2️⃣ **Add it to RayBot**\
Send the command:

```
/add <wallet address> <name>
```

The name is optional but recommended — up to 40 characters, emojis included. Full details and error fixes: [✨ Add](/start/telegram/interface-navigation/add.md).

3️⃣ **Get your first alert**\
From this moment, every buy, sell, or transfer from that wallet lands in this chat in real time. Each alert shows the token, amounts, market cap, and quick links to charts and trading tools — the [📖 Glossary](/start/help-and-support/glossary.md) decodes every abbreviation you'll see.

### 👾 How to Launch RayBot in Discord

RayBot is now available not only in **Telegram**, but also directly in **Discord**.\
You can add RayBot to your server, connect wallets, and manage notifications — both in private chats and group channels.

🔧 **How to Get Started:**\
— In **Telegram**, type the command **`/discord`** — this will generate a link to [**RayBot’s Discord profile**](https://discord.com/users/1428817627312164904).\
— Click **“+ Add App”** to add RayBot to your **Apps** or directly to a specific **Discord channel**.\
— Once added, click **“Message”** to open a private chat with the bot.\
— Type **/start** to activate RayBot.

**Note:**\
Free plans only support **private messages** with RayBot in Discord.\
Group features become available starting from the **Hobby tier** and above.\
If you already have an active paid plan in **Telegram**, use the **`/tg`** command in Discord to link your existing subscription — your plan and wallets will automatically sync across both platforms.

🧩 **Control Center:**

Just like in Telegram, all main management happens in **private messages with the bot**.\
Once connected, you can also use the same commands and settings inside your **Discord groups** — identical to how they work in Telegram groups.

Currently, some features available in Telegram are not yet supported in Discord.\
We’re actively working to make RayBot **fully cross-platform**, so Discord supports the same features as Telegram.

### 🔗 How to Link Telegram and Discord

To use a single RayBot account and share the same subscription across both platforms, you need to link your Telegram and Discord accounts.

📌 Command:\
**`/tg`** — connects your Discord account to your Telegram account.

After running the command, the bot will send you a personal confirmation link.

✅ Once linked, you’ll get:\
— A unified subscription plan (PRO / WHALE) across both platforms\
— A shared list of wallets and notifications\
— The ability to manage everything from either Discord or Telegram

### **What you need to know before getting started:**

90% of all actions happen directly in Telegram or Discord.\
The remaining 10% — via the web interface, accessible with the **/web** command.

**As soon as you launch the bot, a free plan is activated:**

* Up to 10 Solana/Tron wallets
* Up to 50 EVM wallets
* Some limits on data and bot usage
